Panama City Beach lies just east of Destin on Hwy 98. It is the end of South Walton's beaches. These beaches are widely known to be some of the best and cleanest in the country. The St. Andrew Bay filters out much of the sediment and there is almost no river runoff.

It is well worth it once you are there. It is simply the most beautiful water I have ever seen. It is almost like swimming in a clear pool. We weren't sure what to expect, so we set out to spend a few hours at the island. Don't expect to be there all day.

From April to November, sea turtle season can be found in Destin. These magnificent creatures can be found more often in July andAugust. Destin's famous East Pass is Man-Made. They built a path from Choctawhatchee Bay until the Gulf of Mexico. They were correct. The floodwaters were released just as the digging began and rushed through to create what we now refer to as the East Pass.

Morning, Morning or Evening: The best time to swim with dolphins is during the early morning feeding period. Sometimes you might go out earlier in the morning to see dolphins before the sun sets. There are many times you can spot dolphins, but they are easier to spot if there is less traffic.
