All snorkeling tours include snorkeling gear. We frequently visit different snorkeling areas. We regularly change our snorkeling site. The conditions at our local snorkeling sites can change daily. We do our best to take you snorkeling at the calmest and clearest sites on the day we conduct your Dolphin and Snorkeling tour. We also snorkel sandbars, artificial reefs, as well as seagrass beds. We will take you to some of the most beautiful spots in the area.
You can either book a private tour for two to six people or a public one. For up to 6 people, we can combine multiple groups on the same boat during public tours. All tours accommodate 6 guests. For larger groups we can accommodate multiple boats.
We cruise along the waters surrounding Shell Island and Grand Lagoon, St. Andrews State Parks, St. Andrews Bay and Panama City Beach, looking for all types of wildlife and marine life. Pontoons are easy to drive and can be rented without any prior experience. St. Andrew's Bay's water is smooth so it doesn't matter if you're a novice at boat captaining.
Private tours for up to 6 persons are $400, or less than $70/person. It's a bargain for a 3-hour tour. It is great for families with children and infants, as it allows you to create memories together.
If the conditions allow, you may be able to swim with and snorkel alongside dolphins. We may be able to swim in the same area as the dolphins. However, you won't be able touch them. These dolphins are wild and can have their own thoughts. Sometimes they can swim within 3 feet of your body, other times they may swim away from you. We don't feed dolphins or harass them. Swimming with dolphins is not guaranteed. We don't believe it ethical to promise'swimming' with dolphins. We are happy to be able to interact with wild dolphins. All of our boat tours follow the Marine Mammal Protection Act guidelines. We will not allow dolphins to swim in areas that are unsafe for us to swim. The captain can decide.
Shell Island Dolphin Tours offer a 2-hour Split Charter Dolphin & Snorkeling Tour. For those who are looking to combine both experiences, they have two-hour tours. These tours cost $55/person. They are suitable for all ages.

A dolphin tour is a wonderful way to see the area. All tour boats depart Adventure at Sea, Lower Grand Lagoon. On the way to Shell Island, they cross the pass between St. Andrew Bay (the Gulf of Mexico) and cruise south. The view is breathtaking and you may spot seabirds or sea turtles. As long as the last Shuttle leaves the Island, you can stay for as little as an hour or as much as you like. The shuttle runs every 30 mins, seven days a semaine, from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. during the summer season, and every hour during spring and autumn, from 10 a.m. till 4 p.m.

Shell island beach was visited twice. The first time we paid PS7.50 to park on the "island", the second time we drove a bit further along the coast to Llanddwywe and found a public parking lot. It is a beautiful, clean beach.
