These dies work in an HFrame press and hydraulic punch driver. They can also be used with a 3/4 inch draw bolt or 7/16 drawbol to dimpling PortaFab, Scotchman’s entry-level ironworker. This unit can be carried in a 110 volt portable package and provides 45 tons of hydraulic power. This punch can be used for punching steel spring steel in mounting race. A hole can only be made within 9/16th of an inch of the web. The rotary style punch produces more power than the existing Edwards ironworkers and can also be used to punch additional hydraulic ports. It takes approximately 5 seconds to punch. It has a punching speed of 4.5 seconds and a jog down to align the punch. Choose from 115 or US voltage.

Some maintenance tips: Always clean the punch and die. Although they do not need lubrication, cleaning can extend their durability. Make use of only Enerpac Oil in both punch and pumps. Match punch and die appropriately at all times. For operations, ensure you set up dies with bigger openings to point downwards. Ensure you change cracked, chipped, or worn-out punches and dies immediately. Always observe the suited lifting force to avoid cracks while processing materials.
