Vertical lift modules (VLMs), are enclosed securely with an automatic door. This protects stock against theft, dust exposure and humidity, as well as other damage. VLMs are only accessible by authorized operators and barcode verification. This ensures that any user is properly trained to use the system.

Modula Lift's ML50D vertical lifting modules were installed. They now store a large range of manufactured inventory. Two Modula VLM modules provide 1659 cubic feet storage in a footprint measuring 308 square feet. Each VLM module stores approximately 2400 medical tools.
