Frequently Asked Questions

Your blade should be sharpened at least twice before you need to replace it. However, sometimes there is breakage.

Circular saw: This saw can be used to cut straight lines in dimensional lumber and plywood, rigid foam boards, and concrete. It is also a great substitute for a tablesaw on the jobsite.

The scroll saw blade needs to be installed in the correct direction so that it can operate safely and properly. This is easily determined by looking at most scroll saw blades. The angle at which the teeth are set on the blade should be the rake of teeth.

Resawing: This is the process of cutting a plank of sawn wood into smaller planks using a bandsaw. The cut is made through the plank's length, which makes bandsaw resawing different from regular bandsaw rip cuts that run through the stock's thickness.

Kickback is virtually non-existent, but the motion of the blade tends not to push the work-piece against its worktable. Don't push too hard. Pushing too hard will cause the blade to move to one side or another, creating an irregular cut.
