Limit six guests per Panama City Beach Dolphin Tour. Our guests are able to enjoy St. Andrew Bay from comfort and interact with the tour captain while getting a close view of the dolphins. You are able to take photos and video and ask any questions as the captain brings you as close to the dolphins as possible. He is respectful and will not cause harm to them.
For many years, we have taken guests out on dolphin tour with us. We follow all safety precautions to ensure the well-being of our guests and the dolphins. We’ll put you in the water before the dolphins arrive. That way, the dolphins are more likely to come to us rather than swim away. Unlike the larger tour boats that carry up to 150 people, Blue Dolphin Tours carries only 6 passengers (children included). We can have you in the water with your snorkel gear on quickly and without all the splashing and disruptions that large groups create, often frightening the dolphins away. We have 5 identical boats for larger groups, up to 30 persons limited to 6 per boat. We also have a new Large Family Blue Dolphin for up to 15 passengers. Sorry no pets allowed on boats.
St. Andrew Bay has one of the most significant resident populations of bottlenose Dolphins. These iconic gray dolphins are well-known to many people through television, movies and marine parks. Although wild dolphins are found in St. Andrew Bay, they are used and comfortable with humans. Boaters can often be seen among the feeding, playing, and swimming dolphins.

Even though wild dolphin behavior cannot be predicted, and sightings on all trips are not guaranteed, tour captains have a lot of experience on the waters of St. Andrew Bay almost every day. Our captains know where dolphins can be found, and they do everything possible to ensure guests have a good time. Dolphins can be seen on most tours jumping, playing, looking for food and communicating with each other.

The best time to see and swim with dolphins is in the early part of the morning when they are feeding. You might also go out later in the day before the sun sets. You can spot dolphins at any time of day, really, but less traffic makes them easier to spot.
