We’ll put you in the water before the dolphins arrive. That way, the dolphins are more likely to come to us rather than swim away. Unlike the larger tour boats that carry up to 150 people, Blue Dolphin Tours carries only 6 passengers (children included). We can have you in the water with your snorkel gear on quickly and without all the splashing and disruptions that large groups create, often frightening the dolphins away. We have 5 identical boats for larger groups, up to 30 persons limited to 6 per boat. We also have a new Large Family Blue Dolphin for up to 15 passengers. Sorry no pets allowed on boats.
In order to protect the well-being of these wonderful marine creatures, Florida law prohibits swimming with dolphins as well as touching or feeding them. Officers from the Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission are on the water to ensure that these rules are followed. However, you may be lucky enough to have dolphins approach the tour boat quite closely, giving you an excellent view and great photo opportunity. If you would really like to have the possibility of encountering wild dolphins in the water, taking one of our Shell Island Snorkel Tours is a good option as the dolphins sometimes swim near snorkelers.
St. Andrew Bay dolphins can be seen at any time of the year, but it is not possible for us to know when they are most likely to be there. Dolphin behavior is affected by many factors, including the weather conditions, water temperatures and tide cycles, as well as availability of prey. Dolphins can be seen whenever the sun shines and the water clear. Feeding activities usually take place on an outgoing tide. Panama City Beach Dolphin Tours is a great option. They are on the water almost every day of year.
Our Panama City Beach Dolphin Tours are limited to six passengers per trip. This lets our guests explore St. Andrew Bay in comfort, interact easily with the tour captain, and get a close look at the dolphins. You can take pictures, shoot video, and ask all the questions you want as your captain brings the tour boat as near as possible to the dolphins while being respectful and careful not to cause them any stress or harm.

St. Andrew Bay hosts one of world's largest resident populations (the iconic gray dolphins) of bottlenose dolphins. This is the area most people are most familiar with from movies, television and marine parks. Although the dolphins in St. Andrew Bay are wild, they are used the human presence. Boaters are often found among the group of dolphins, which are swimming, feeding, or playing.
We are currently not offering dolphin tours. They will soon be available! The chance to see wild bottlenose dolphins in the natural environment is an unforgettable experience that will create memorable Panama City Beach vacation memories. We are happy to invite you to join us for one of our Panama City Beach Dolphin Tours. This will make your Panama City Beach vacation unforgettable.

The best time to see and swim with dolphins is in the early part of the morning when they are feeding. You might also go out later in the day before the sun sets. You can spot dolphins at any time of day, really, but less traffic makes them easier to spot.
