A variety of starfishes, sanddollars bay scallops, whelks conchs upto 21 inches long, seahorses urchins and hermit crabs among other crab species are common species that we see. These animals are easy to bring to the surface. They can also be photographed. We use large containers to allow snorkelers and non-snorkelers to see the animals up close before they are released back into the bay. You can also take any shells you find that have not been inhabited by living creatures home. —

Once we reach the Gulf of Mexico, we will anchor there. Shell Island is where you can snorkel and see the underwater world. You can also learn about the local sea-life or just relax and enjoy the sun while you soak in the sun. To search for shells in the shallow water, you can also go to Shell Island. After exploring Shell Island, we'll take a ride out into the Gulf of Mexico to see dolphins and other sights.
