"This was a highlight in our Florida trip. We felt safe, had fun, and learned a lot. Captain Jack was friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating."
If conditions permit, guests may go into the water to see dolphins if possible. Safety is our number one priority. Your captain will teach you how safely to snorkel around marine mammals.
You can also see dolphins on our island and dolphin tours. This is where you can swim, fish, dive, search for shells and, if the conditions permit, snorkel in the protected waters to see a wide range of marine life.
We will be departing Historic Grand Lagoon to take a relaxing, 25-minute trip out to Shell Island, where we'll snorkel. You should be looking out for dolphins or other sea animals as they are in their natural habitats. Our boat will dock in the Gulf of Mexico. Shell Island is the next stop. There you can snorkel, find seashells, learn about the marine life around the area, or simply relax and take in the sunshine. You can also explore the shallows of Shell Island and hunt for shells. After some time spent at Shell Island we will continue our trip to the Gulf of Mexico, where we will search for dolphins. We'll also be stopping to sight-see along this route.
Reserve the entire boat on a private tour for only your party. This is your tour. This tour can be tailored to your preferences. A private charter can only accommodate six people.
Panama City Beach tourists will enjoy a dolphin cruise. Waverunners are available for those who want to experience something more thrilling. If your children are young or you just want to relax, the tour boats will ensure that everyone is comfortable as we search for wild dolphins. You can also capture video and take pictures to make sure your trip is unforgettable.
Dolphins can be described as a loose collection of different aquatic mammals that are found around the globe. The bottlenose dolphin, which is the most commonly seen dolphin in Florida, is the most prevalent. Panama City Beach Snorkeling & Dolphin Tours LLC created the iconic grey dolphin. Americans have enjoyed seeing dolphins tricks for fish at numerous marine attractions all over the country for years. However, wild dolphins are now protected by more safeguards.
You would like to book a private tour of the dolphins for your group? Customers can add time to their private dolphin tour, starting at 2 or 3 hour, to add extra activities such as snorkeling, island time, etc. Each boat can hold 6 people. Your captain will guide you in how to enter the water and view the dolphins as they live in their natural environment. Next, enjoy a guided snorkeling tour to view other sea creatures around Shell Island.

Starfish, bay scallops (with sand dollars), whelks, starfish up to 21 inches in length, conchs with a maximum length of 21 inches, seahorses, urchins, hermit crabs, and other crab species are some of the species we often see. These animals can easily be brought to the surface, photographed, and handled with care. So that anyone can view them, even those who are not snorkers, we bring large containers. Any shells found with no living creatures can be taken home.
Additionally, we often see manatees. If conditions allow, you may enter the water near manatees, but we practice passive observation and never approach them.
