For a relaxing 25-minute cruise to Shell Island, our snorkel area, we will leave Historic Grand Lagoon. Keep an eye out for dolphins, sea creatures and other marine life as you travel. We will either anchor along the Gulf of Mexico, Shell Island, or both. Here you can snorkel for shells, learn more about the local marine life, and just relax while taking in the sun. To hunt for shells, you can also swim through the shallow waters to Shell Island. After spending some time on Shell Island, the trip will conclude with a ride to the Gulf of Mexico where we can search for dolphins as well as sight-see.

A variety of starfishes, sanddollars bay scallops, whelks conchs upto 21 inches long, seahorses urchins and hermit crabs among other crab species are common species that we see. These animals are easy to bring to the surface. They can also be photographed. We use large containers to allow snorkelers and non-snorkelers to see the animals up close before they are released back into the bay. You can also take any shells you find that have not been inhabited by living creatures home.
Maximum group size for our boats is 6, with a maximum capacity of 12. We can accommodate larger parties, however, with the help of our local partners.
It was a story that dolphins protected sailors in ancient Greece, which even appeared on an episode of Flipper. This idea is so fascinating that many people find it amazing. It's not true, unfortunately.
Dolphins don't swim with people, "kiss", or tow people in the water because it is fun. They do this because they have to. These are not natural behaviors and all captive dolphins are trained to perform them correctly. If they don't, they won't eat.
You can touch the dolphin's bellies and hold on to their pectoral fins while they swim around the lagoon. This is called "Belly Ride". The "Foot Push" is the last activity. However, you will be pushed while riding a boogieboard.
