This allows you to add more activities, such as additional snorkeling and island time. 6 people can each boat. Your captain will direct you on how to get in and see dolphins in their natural habitat. Next, you can take a guided snorkel tour around Shell Island to view the other marine life.
We also often see manatees. Manatees can be seen if conditions permit. However, we prefer passive observation so that they are not tempted to approach us.

Panama City Dolphin Tours and Shell Island Trips with Panama City Beach Snorkeling & Dolphin Tours LLC can be booked for a maximum 12 people (maximum 6 per boat). This allows for a more intimate and interactive experience, as well as a safer trip because you won't share the boat with anyone else.
You can also see dolphins on our island and dolphin tours. This is where you can swim, fish, dive, search for shells and, if the conditions permit, snorkel in the protected waters to see a wide range of marine life.
We will get you in the water before they arrive. This will make it more likely that the dolphins swim to us, rather than to us. Panama City Beach Snorkeling & Dolphin Tours LLC is smaller than larger boats, which can carry as many as 150 people. You can get in the water quickly with your snorkel gear on without having to splash or disrupt the environment that large groups often create. This is often what scares the dolphins away. For larger groups of up to 30 people, we have five identical boats. We limit the number to six per boat. A large family dolphin is also available for 15 people.
If the conditions permit, guests can jump in the water with dolphins nearby if they are allowed. Safety is our top priority. Your captain will show you how to safely snorkel among marine mammals.
Our dolphin and island tours take you to Shell Island, where you can also observe dolphins. We can walk along the shore, look for shells, wade and swim in the protected waters. You will also see a variety of marine species.
We have been twice to shell Island Beach. You can park in the shell island beach by paying PS7.50. The second time you drive a little further up the coast to Llanddwywe where there is a public car parking. The beach itself is vast and very beautiful.
All guests at Discovery Cove have access to swim vests or wetsuits. For the safety of the animals, Discovery Cove guests are not allowed to wear jewelry except for watches and wedding bands.
Orcas are considered apex predators. This means that they are at the top of the food chain, and have no predators. Killer whales are the most powerful and largest animals in the ocean. No other predator can challenge them.
