Your captain will accompany you on your journey to the snorkeling site. They will help you identify and find seashells. You will have the option to arrange your own private tour so you can make it as enjoyable as possible.
Cancellations made within 24 hours of tour start/end time will not be granted a refund. This is due to the fact that it takes to reserve seats for other clients.

During your excursion, visit Panama City Pass to see the area where St. Andrews Bay joins the Gulf of Mexico. This area is home to many dolphins. Furthermore, we'll teach you how they interact in the water.
Rent a pontoonboat for the day and be your own captain! We have pontoon boats for rent for visitors who wish to be their captain. Our Map will be sent to you with the directions to our favourite snorkeling spots, sandbars and common dolphin areas.
We had an amazing time! Christian, our captain of the boat, was fantastic. Our group ranged in age from 2 years to 81, and everyone had a blast. We went to Shell Island, met dolphins, touched jellyfish cannonballs, and enjoyed the boat trip. Christo was polite, knowledgeable, and friendly. Christo was a great captain. Lagoon Pontoons booked staff were very helpful and friendly. They answered all questions and provided suggestions for seniors and toddlers. 5 stars!! !

You'll see the best of St Andrews Bay's wildlife on the second leg. These include birds like pelicans and herons as well as underwater marine life like starfish, blue crabs and blue horses, along with hermit crabs and other sea life. Shell Island offers a unique opportunity to discover shells and sanddollars. You can snorkel the flats of sand grass and visit St. Andrews Bay on the Gulf of Mexico.
Swimming parallel with the dolphins rather than swimming toward them or reaching out for them (this is also illegal), we will allow the dolphins to come to us (best, most ethical method).
Your captain can show you how to best enter the water, and get close up and personal with the dolphins. It is forbidden to swim or reach out towards dolphins. We use the most ethical approach to interaction with them by swimming parallel to them, as well as allowing them freely to approach us.
Dolphins are most active at dawn, between 10 a.m. and noon, and from 2 p.m. to dusk. A good pair of telephoto lenses or binoculars can be extremely useful for spotting dolphins.

A: You can get to Shell Island by boat or jet ski. The St. Andrews Shuttle to Shell Island costs $24.95 for adults, $17.95 for children ages 2 to 12, and free for infants ages 0 to 1. There are also several locations where you can rent a jet ski or pontoon boat.
