Our dolphin and island tours take you to Shell Island, where you can also observe dolphins. We can walk along the shore, look for shells, swim and snorkel in the protected waters.

Our boats are actually dive boats. Children will love seeing the dolphins, and being able to snorkel in the sea like SCUBA divers.

Do dolphins protect humans from sharks —

Your captain will direct you on how to enter the water so that you can see the dolphins at close quarters. It is prohibited to approach or swim towards the dolphins. We interact with dolphins in the most ethical manner possible by swimming parallel to their bodies and inviting them to come towards us.

Your captain will provide many options to help you make the most of your dolphin tour. One option is to snorkel on the grass flats or jetties of Shell Island. The second leg of the excursion will bring you the best of St Andrews Bay's wildlife. These include birds like pelicans, ospreys, starfish, and underwater marine life such hermit crabs. Shell Island offers sand dollars as well as shells. Also, you can snorkel on grass flats along the Gulf of Mexico and visit St. Andrews Bay.

You will be visiting Panama City Pass, and exploring the area where St. Andrews Bay meets the Gulf of Mexico during your excursion. You will see many dolphins here, and we will show you how to interact with them in water.

Your privacy will be assured on your private dolphin tour. You and your group will only be allowed to board the boat with your captain. The Coast Guard has limited the number of passengers to 6, with children of all ages.

How much does it cost to go to Shell Island

Instead of swimming in front of the dolphins (which is illegal), we will swim parallel with them, instead of reaching out for them (which also violates the law). This will allow them to approach us ethically.

Boat tours can be enjoyed by all ages. Lagoon Pontoons boat tours are great for relaxing and swimming with the Atlantic Bottlenose Dolphins.
