You can swim with Panama City's wild bottle-nose dolphins on your trip in super-fast boats that are specially built for visiting and finding them. Blue Dolphin Tours is smaller than larger boats, which can carry as many as 150 people. We only take 6 passengers on certain boats and 7-15 on others boats. Children of all ages are welcome to join us. You can be in the water quickly with your snorkel gear on without any splashing or disruptions, which can often scare the dolphins away. This Dolphin Tour boat, unlike larger vessels that can hold up to 175 people, can only carry six passengers. Larger groups are known to make a lot too much noise and disturb the dolphins. This can drive them away. The best part about our service is that you will be able to get in the water quickly and without scaring the dolphins.
Before the dolphins arrive, you will be in the water. The dolphins will be attracted to you because they are curious. Dolphins are finicky creatures and will be more curious if we pretend they're not there.
MAXIMUM 6 guests (including all children) are allowed on each boat. Coast Guard regulations do not allow for more than 13 passengers.
Our boats are actual dive boats so the children will love finding and seeing the dolphins and having the opportunity to snorkel in the water just like a real SCUBA diver.

We will get you as close as possible to dolphins while still ensuring your safety and their safety. It's up the dolphins to decide how close and how often they interact with us. Passive observation is what we do. It simply means that we allow the dolphins to come to us. The dolphins of St. Andrews Bay are extremely playful and interactive. St. Andrews Bay Charters' private charters allow for 12 passengers (maximum 6 per boat) to enjoy Panama City dolphin tours and Shell Island excursions. This gives you a more personal and intimate experience. You won't have to share your boat with anyone.

Dolphins, loggerhead turtles, green sea turtles, ghost crabs, beach mice, nine-banded armadillos, alligators that live in the island's lake, marsh rabbits, racoons, and other wildlife can be found on Shell Island.
Wear nothing but a swimsuit. Dolphins have extremely sensitive skin, and because you will be able to touch them during your interaction, we recommend that you refrain from wearing sunscreen, oils, or perfumes.
