This course includes three days of instruction in the water and classroom workshops on technical sidemount diving.
The new SDI/TDI Sidemount Diver course is much more than a "how-to" book on sidemount dives. It is a comprehensive and complete collection of training materials that can be used together to teach sidemount diving.
Sidemount Diver course materials can save instructors and retailers time. Instructors don't need multiple sources to gather the necessary materials to teach a course. Nor do they need time to develop their own quizzes, exams, or other teaching tools. Customers and students don't need to be told why eLearning has been discontinued for this course.
Scuba diving training should not be limited to learning how to handle any eventualities. Although this is an important part of training, we ensure that you can do it when you're done. However, you should also be able to do this in mid-water and not at the bottom with your knees. This applies to all courses we offer, including Open Water and Technical. You will learn how to scuba dive and not how to survive underwater. It is not always possible to dive in an area that allows you to get down to the bottom if an issue occurs. It is important to be able and willing to tackle any issue in the water. That's what we teach.
The Professional Association of Dive Instructors, (PADI), made us Open Water Scuba Instructors over a decade back. Each of our dives was over 200. Since then, we have been teaching all over Arizona, California, Florida, Mexico, New Jersey and New Jersey. We both were able, in less than a full year, to earn our PADI Master Scuba Diving Instructor Trainer ratings. Additionally, we have taught many specialty courses. Our annual average is over 150 dives. We usually dive for over an hour.
Our passion for diving began over a decade back. After taking our first breaths off a regulator in the water, we knew this was going to become a passion. Before we ever went to the Sea of Cortez, we bought all of our gear! After our first dive weekend, we realized that Mexico was the perfect place for us to go back and dive again. In our first year as divers, we logged over 100 dives in the waters of panama. We became so passionate about diving that our passion was too overwhelming and we wanted to pass it on to others.
Our teaching philosophy is simple, We are mentors first, instructors second. We dont only teach diving, we are out there doing the dives. We are here to answer your questions and act as a resource for you. We may not know every answer, but we will direct you to someone who can help you. We want to help you grow your diving experience and knowledge. When choosing an instructor, make sure that instructor hasnt just paid for an instructor rating and been given the rating. Make sure that instructor has current experience diving what he/she is teaching.
Don't grab animals, don't hold them for photo ops, don't go for rides on dolphins or turtles, and don't force puffer fish to inflate (it can be fatal to them).
