At Scuba Dive Panama City Beach we limit dive trips to just 14 scuba divers to ensure comfort and space for everyone. All of our charters are open to the public if there is space and we usually run 2 trips a day during the season.

The wave interval is more important than the absolute size of the waves in the area around Panama City Beach. The waves that create rollers are long interval waves, while the waves that cause rocking make the boat move up and down. Divers can be difficult to spot in the water because they are harder to see.

From TDI, we teach technical scuba classes. Technical divers go beyond recreational diving. These divers can dive deeper, farther, higher, and more overhead, and may use more complex gas mixtures to meet narcosis or decompression requirements. You are a skilled diver who wants to explore the depths of the pool. This is the way to get there. We offer Intro to Tech, Advanced Nitrox, Deco Procedures and Trimix. Advanced Trimix is also available. We can provide a fun class with an expert instructor in the field, using only the best gear at fully inclusive prices.

The threshold for offshore diving lies more than 8 miles away from St Andrew's Pass. These sites require advanced certification. A nitrox certificate would be a good idea. These trips are not available every day due to the distance involved. Check with the dive shop for the latest trip information. Or, plan a trip with well-qualified friends. They might be able put one on the calendar.
