A press brake is a machine tool used for bending metal parts and sheets up to 20 mm thick. It is composed of a V-shaped or U-shaped die (depending on the desired bending shape) and a punch. The material to be bent is placed on the die and pressed by the punch which then bends the sheet to the selected degree.

Our manual control push brakes are suitable for industries and jobs that don’t require the precision and detail achieved by CNC controls. The manual press brakes include all the safety features of CNC models. However, manual presses are more powerful and easier to use than CNC models. They feature a front operated power back-gauge, ram adjust with digital readings, and fine adjustment handswheels for both. Our models range from 22 to 44 tons.

ADR hydraulic press brake and ADS hydraulic pressure brake are equally fast as they are accurate. These press brakes have a superior accuracy of +-.0004 and a repeatability that is second to none. Our concept of "large strokes", high openings, deep throats and high pressure is present in all JMT press presses. This allows the operators to create parts with larger flanges. It also makes it much simpler to remove those parts. Operators will find it easier to setup and control the press at a quicker pace. This presents safety concerns in the event that the operator makes mistakes and places restrictions on the machine. There is a possibility that the brakes could be locked if the ram travels too fast.
