Tarpon fishing is our favorite kind of fishing. Every year, we are excited about the tarpon migration. In Northwest Florida the tarpon runs usually from May through to August. June and July are the best months. Tarpon are a very unusual fish. The majority of them are 70-200 lbs in weight. The mere sight of these fish in schools is enough to make you scream! Even better, to have one in your hands and watch their amazing leaps and jumps across the water! It's an amazing experience.
