If a CNC drill machine doesn't allow a fabricator the ability to compete at the highest level in steel fabrication, what good is it? The Advantage-2 is able to process technical programming with intelligence and speed. Each drill axis comes equipped with three five station tool changers. These can be used to drill, mill and countersink as well as tap and scribe. Signoscript underside or Signomat part stamping units can be added to this drill line. You can keep your part information even after you have finished painting, blasting, or galvanizing. Minimizing shop errors? Check. The Advantage-2's carbide tooling allows for more aggressive drilling and more holes per hour than any other drill line. The high torque drilling tools have a more aggressive cut, removing more chips each rotation. This drill line is capable of cutting through beams, channels, angles, tubes, and even flat bars. Advantage-2 can handle any profile with a processing window of 44inches wide by 18inches high.
AC Unit Installed on Electrical Cabinet – The unit is mounted on the cabinet’s High Power (480v) side. It is close to the location where the drives are mounted. This option keeps the cabinet temperature stable and allows heat dissipation faster. The servo drives for all axes are the most significant contributors to heat inside the electrical cabinet.
Your operator will be trained in Peddimat. You might have customers who bring a couple of pieces with them.
The Franklin HD145 (3) spindle-cNC drill is 44 inches wide. The HD-145 can lift beams of up to 750 lbs per feet. The high-performance spindle design allows drilling speeds of up to 2000 RPM. The rigid design of the spindle allows for very aggressive feed rates, up to 300 ft per minute. There are many material handling options available for the Franklin HD145, from 300 lbs to 750 pounds per foot.
This ability to mill efficiently speeds up project completion. The Advantage-2 user-friendly Raptor 3DCAD/CAM software allows the operator to quickly program parts. The 3D platform allows you to inspect, modify, and export your part information. Advantage-2 drill's greatest advantages are the ability to scribe and mill slots as well as large lifting holes. This machine is truly unique. The scribing allows us to place piece marks, layout lines, and center points. The CNC Beam Drill Line may be programmed by hand at the machine, or remotely using the Peddimat Software. This software is included with the AVENGER. You can install it on as many computers as you want in your office. It is the same program that is on the machine.

The CNC Beam Drill Line is very simple to operate and most of our Avenger operators were the men doing layout on the floor. No prior computer knowledge is necessary, and full training is provided at the time of the installation
STRENGTH. Steel is harder than aluminum, despite being more susceptible to corrosion. Although aluminum has a higher strength in colder climates, it is more susceptible to scratches and dents than steel. Steel is less susceptible to warping or bending due to heat, weight, force or heat.
C-Channel. . . . This beam profile is very popular for auxiliary beams. Although it is also used for main beams it is more popular for cross members. C-Channel is usually stronger than tube in the vertical direction (as shown in the beam profile chart image).
A box beam made from aluminum or acrylics will last longer than an I-Beam. It is stronger and more solid than an I-Beam.
Direct push technology is often called DPT. It uses the static weight combined with a hydraulic wrench to advance instrumentation or tooling through the subsurface. The drill cuttings cannot be removed from the hole unlike rotary.
Step one is to determine the beam's total load and live load. Identify the type of load that you are supporting (roof, floor, or non-snow) and then choose the span you require.
