The principle behind a centrifugal bar tumbler is the same as a Ferris wheels, but with smaller baskets attached to the edges of large wheels. A centrifugal finishing or harperizing device has 4 barrels. Each barrel is a seat on the Ferris wheel and one large flywheel. Each revolution of a flywheel results is one complete rotation of each barrel. The flywheel spins fast and generates very high centrifugal force, which can be as high as 15 - 20 times that of gravity. This causes contents to slide against eachother under high pressure. The higher pressure allows for faster processing of metal parts and smooth, consistent finishes.
The GoCrease criser is ideal for digital applications. It allows documents printed on heavy, coated stock to be folded prior to folding. This ensures crisper, cleaner folds without cracking
The Gulf States Saw & Machinery Co., Inc. portfolio of mass finishing machines ranges from simple rotary vibrator to fully automated surf finishers with robotic equipment. The conception and implementation of systems and processes which are individually designed for the customer are one of Gulf States Saw & Machinery Co., Inc.'s core strengths. Metal, plastic, ceramic or wood...deburring, degreasing, descaling, rust removal or polishing: The options for the use of Gulf States Saw & Machinery Co., Inc. mass finishing machines are simply endless.
These machines can remove large burrs and blend lines from machining. They can also be used for polishing or burnishing. Use them with organic media such as corn-cob or ceramic to achieve almost any finish.
Gulf States Saw & Machinery Co., Inc.'s bookletmakers and finishing machines are known for their speedy and flexible designs. The Sprint series models are well known for their performance and reliability in the print finishing business. The SF2 bookletmaker, which is a breakthrough in the printing industry, uses wire-fed sewing technology previously used only in larger systems at three times the cost.
Are you looking for a matte or satin look? Aluminum oxide blasting media can also be used in your centrifugal bar finishing process. The result will be matte rather than shiny.
Whether your application requires compact systems to complete smaller deburring projects or larger, heavy-duty models to complete several shifts and facilitate large-scale production, well help you locate the right machine for nearly any metalworking process.

Automatic programmable models are able to store fold programs in memory so that they can be set up and run at the touch.
Built in a heavy duty construction with a smaller footprint designed to accommodate a job shop with various applications such as deburring, dross removal, calibrating/dimensioning, edge radiusing or finishing.
The GoCrease creasers, which are ideal for digital applications, allow documents printed on heavy and coated stock to crease before folding. This results in crisper folds that don't crack.
Every Triumph trimmer is equipped with either movable or stationary transparent Lexan safety guards. All models have passed independent safety tests and are compliant with all applicable international safety regulations. Triumph trimmers can be certified using a quality control system. It is used in all company areas according to the DIN EN ISO 9001 -2008 standards.
The law of attraction between positively and negatively charged particles underpins the finishing technique of applying a coating to a metal surface. The paint is usually positively charged, while the support to be painted is negatively charged because it is wired to a strong electric field.
Finishing operations, also known as finishing manufacturing, occur at the end of the manufacturing process, after the part has been formed and secondary processes have been completed.
Finishing mortars and concretes; natural and artificial masonry materials; decorative ceramics; materials and items made of wood, paper, glass, plastic, and metals; and paints and varnishes are the most common finishing materials used in modern construction.
