The Voortman V808 robotic thermal cutting machine is equipped with the new faster and more accurate versatile Panasonic TL-1800G3 coping robot. The torch nozzle of the robot is fitted with a measuring sensor to measure the exact profile dimensions. During the cutting process the difference between actual and theoretical dimensions are automatically compensated in the machine parameters to ensure the most accurate product possible. To speed up the process even more, the coping robot only measuring the sides of the profile that will actually be processed.

To integrate the machine to an MSI beam line, full automatic profile transport can be provided. Our/The VACAM software controls sensors drag-dogs and liftables for transporting profiles onto and off the outfeed roller conveyor. Select products will automatically be made from the trading lengths. Cross-transports can handle multiple profiles. The machine can operate independently for a considerable time.

MSI designates the end of transporting raw profiles and semi-finished products from machine to machine. MSI stands for one integrated production system. You can track and monitor every profile, product and future planning in real time by using VACAM, Voortman’s proprietary CNC control software installed on every machine.

The V808 is equipped with sliding conveyors that allow you to work from the front to the back. You don't waste any material. Sliding roller conveyors reduce the minimum length of infeed and output to 1.400mm (55 inches) when combined with cross-transports, in-and outfeed roller conveyors, and full automation.
