The V808 robot profile processor can cut all types of shapes and lay out marking on all 4 sides. If this profile width is not possible, the VoortmanV807, our latest coping robot, can often be used to process profiles up to 1.050mm (42). Thermally, the V808 robot can handle a variety of thermally-processable cuts including rat holes, seismic structural connections (like slotted Web and "dog bone") cuts, copes at product's beginning and end, block outs and holes in any shape or size, weld preps and marking on all four sides.

This plasma drilling machine is designed to integrate as many fabrication functions as possible in one machine. The PCR41 produces finished parts at the lowest manufacturing cost. This machine automates all the cutting operations that are commonly performed, as well as structural steel.

Rat holes and seismic structural design connections (jayallan/dog bone connections), copes near the trail end of a products, blockouts, holes in all shapes and sizes, weld preparations, marking on each side and many other things! Voortman’s V808 has the best versatility on the market, as it can process all sides of the material with just one robot. The software does not require any programming.

The V808 roller-feed measurement and clamping system locks profiles and keeps them in the same exact place throughout processing. The fully automated measuring roller feed system saves time and money by not requiring a pusher or gripper before returning home to load the next piece. Voortman’s roller feed system is fully automated within a standard range for profile processing. Voortman’s automated in-feed crossing transports provide enough stability and support so that beams of up to 15.000kg (33,000 lbs) can be properly positioned and processed.

AFD CNC Flange and Plate Drilling Machine can drill from 6 to 80mm, 1/4" to 3-1/8", within its own work area. Material is fixed to the table using hydraulic clamping jaws by driving it on balls. Material is positioned to the desired coordinates for drilling/marking/tapping by CNC program and then operation starts.

MSI, also known as Multi System Integration (MSI), allows you to fully automate production by connecting machines using cross transports. Roller conveyors. Product buffers. Material sensors. MSI automatically distributes production data to all the machines that are part of your production system.

We will work closely with you to develop a solution that suits your needs. This could include implementation in an existing production line, outside loading, and roller conveyors. The machine housing contains the entire roller-feed measurement system. This allows for complete flexibility in planning and expansion of your workshop. Start with a simple layout, and then expand the machine with more automated logistics. You can also add additional machines later as your business grows. Voortman makes machines that adapt to your business's needs.

The RAZ by FICEP is the most productive stand-alone thermal cutting robot ever created.

With us at Gulf States Saw & Machine Co., there is an assurance that our Robotic Coping and Profiling is second to none in the industry with its high definition plasma technology system that is capable of cutting through a wide range of metal profiles for not only structural steel but other metal pieces.

Manual coping involves performing every step by hand, including reading the drawings, transferring dimensions, measuring, framing, and cutting the beams using a handheld torch. Manual coping is a labor-intensive process that requires significant grinding and chipping to achieve the desired finish. It also involves the risk of human error regarding angles, finish, dimensions, inconsistencies, and misalignment. These inefficiencies dig into operational costs and decrease profits.

The Voortman team will design the layout with you based on your production characteristics. This includes product length, type of profiles and number of processes.

The PCR42 robotic plasma cutter does beam coping and notches, holes, and weld preps. It also splits beams and scribes as well as marks on all four sides of H-beams channels angles, HSS, plates, and H-beams.

Frequently Asked Questions

Commonly, a coping saw can be used to cut appropriate designs for joining two surfaces. This tiny hand tool can make precise cuts to create inside joints that are professional-quality.

What are some common strategies for coping? Lower your expectations. Ask for help from others. Accept responsibility for your situation. Participate in problem solving. Keep emotionally supportive relationships. You can express your distressing emotions or maintain emotional composure. You can find more items.

In many types of structures, material strength is more important than weight. I-beams, which look like a capital "I", in cross-section, are often used in bridges and buildings. Although it is lighter and heavier than a regular beam, an I-beam is almost as strong and rigid.

A coping saw simply has a C-shaped steel frame that holds pivoting blade holders. These pin the blade's ends. The blade can be tightened by a few twists of its handle. This tensions the blade and allows it to make fast, precise cuts in almost any material.

Douglas fir is perhaps the strongest of all wood beams. Although there may be a stronger wood, I don't know of any. Lumber mills today make beams in the same way as plywood. To make extremely strong structural engineered timbers, they use layers of solid wood that have been glued together.
