Most importantly, many large fabricators have moved from a 3-torch to a Voortman. This will tell you all!

FANUC robot arm features six axes. It is able to bevel 360°. This makes it quick and easy to create any profile, coping beams, plates or pipes. Hydraulic clamps stop round materials rotating during processing. This flexibility is paired with Hypertherm XDefinition plasma's superior power.

With the ABCM-1250 CNC beam cutting machine, achieve miter or straight cutting on a new level. In record time, place in-line with Voortman’s automatic sawing systems and separate beams.

If you have any questions about the quality of our Robotic-coping and profiling machines, we can tell you that they have passed the most important fabrication tests, including hardness and surface texture, beam access hole quality, bolt hole size, positioning, and perpendicularity. As usual, the Voortman CNC profiling and coping machine has been made available through our stocking. This machine is built to an extraordinary standard, hence its exceptional capacities.

Cutting

To move the steel through the Voortman's machine, the Voortman needs roller conveyors. Gulf States Saw & Machine Co. provides a customized modular system for the machine. The modular system, called the Ocean Eliminator, features in-feed or out-feed powered roller conveyors as well as powered lift/carry cross transfers.

The CNC Beam Coping Machine (also known as the Beam Coping Machine) is the most cost-effective beam coper on the market. It is the result of strong and productive cooperation with Voortman - the top manufacturer of structural steel fabricating machines.

Beam Cutting

We make 3D coping, profiling easy with our top-ofthe-range coping or profiling robot. These Robotic Coping/Profiling beams have a high level of reliability and are capable of cutting slots, chamlers and saddles.

Gulf States Saw & Machine Co. has the assurance that their Robotic Coping and Profiling systems are second to none. They have a high definition plasma technology system that can cut through a wide variety of metal profiles.

Most importantly, many large fabricators have upgraded their 3-torch machines to a Voortman. This should tell you everything.

It's a 5-axis CNC robotic automated oxy-fuel cutting beam cutter that is very economical. This machine can be used to cut beams as well as channels, angles, plates, rectangular tubes, and channels. This profile cutter machine can easily cut any kind of material you can think up. It not only handles, but also cuts to length.

Why are steel beams coped

The top-of the line coping/profiler makes 3D coping a breeze. These Robotic Coping & Profiling beams are not just reliable, they are also designed to cut saddles, chamlers or slots.

Multiple axis positioning enables top and/or bottom flanges are cut simultaneously. The pivoting torch can be used for flange shaping in preparation for welding.

Beam Coping Machine Tour

A 5-axis CNC beam coping machine with a single torch is a machine that only uses one torch for all the coping. The single torch will begin cutting the web, then move to the flanges. The torch moves in a sequence from each flange to the web. The 5-axis torch can move in almost any direction and position, making it possible to complete even the most complicated of tasks. The 5-axis torch can make double miter/bevel cuts in both the flange or web. This is something multi-torch systems cannot do.

Three torches allow simultaneous oxy-fuel cutting, resulting in unbeatable speed and efficiency. The ABCM-1250 CNC beam cutter machine is capable both of mitering as well beveled weld preparation at the top or bottom flanges.

Frequently Asked Questions

A continuous beam with two spans is the simplest statically undeterminate structure. It contains only one indeterminacy but it exhibits the basic characteristics of a statically uncertain structure.

Coping Saw Coping Saws are handsaws that can cut extremely tight curves in thin stock like trim molding. They can be used to cut outside (from the edge), on stock up to two or three inches thick.

The correct answer is "B." 0.2 mm.

Price of 30 ft lvl beam: The average cost/price of LVL is $3-$12 per linear foot. For 30 ft. lvl beam price, 30x3 = $90, 30x12 = $360. This means that 30 ft. lVL beam, Laminated veneer lumber, or Engineered beam costs between $50 and $200 for materials, or between $90 and $360 for installation.

The strength tolerances of the C-beam are lower than those of the I-beam. This results in lighter components. Continue reading if you have never used C-beam profiles. Let us walk you through the basics to help you decide if it is right for you.
