It is obviously preferable to import files directly from your steel detailing software because it eliminates an unnecessary step and also eliminates possible incorrect data capture. There are two separate and distinct camps in this respect:

Voortman allows you to upload a profile of your cope from either the built-in shape library, or CAD into the CNC software. You can then manually calibrate the cutting tolerances, nest parts to cope, and track robotic cutting routes before work starts. Robotic Coping and Profiling can make your fabrication process more efficient. This system has been specifically designed for metalworkers and fabricators. It is able to work with angle lines, beam drilllines, hydraulic punches, ironworkers and band saws. This is a great way to improve your fabrication processes by taking them from zero to one hundred.

The Voortman uses a special long torch nozzle to get close to the inside of Flanges. We supply these is variety of sizes depending on the thickness of material to be cut. Torches tips are also gas specific so please indicate what type of gas you are using:- Acetylene, Natural Gas, MAPP, Propane, Etc.
