The CNC Drill Line is built exclusively for GSS Machinery by Voortman. Voortman handles the installation, warranty and service work on the CNC Drill Line. And while Voortman is the service provider, GSS Machinery is always there to get involved should the need arise.
Remote assistance is not always possible. It is still possible to have mechanical problems or ask questions that require a human eye. Voortman machines ship with high-definition webcams and software. Voortman employees can experience the installation's activity without ever leaving their office. In situations where communication is difficult or impossible, the webcam can be of great value.
The CNC Drill Line is an extremely space-efficient beam processing solution as it only requires a floor space of 70ft x 9ft, making it ideal for even the smallest fabricator or fabricators with space limitations. We also have many CNC Drill Line installations that are outside, freeing up even more space for the fabricator.
Voortman offers regular training courses on all Voortman and Ocean equipment at their facility in Bradley Illinois. These courses are suitable for new operators and for refreshing existing operators. CNC Drill Line can import DXF file and can use them for processing 3-D shapes provided the steel is detailed according specific rules. You might need to adjust some of these rules to match the details you are currently using. This process may not be as seamless as 3-D modeling software.
Voortman is the only manufacturer of the CNC Drill Line for GSS Machinery. Voortman takes care of all aspects of the CNC Drill Line's installation, warranty, maintenance and repair. Voortman provides the service, but GSS Machinery can always be reached if required.

For small buildings, the distance between two reinforced columns is between 3-4m and 6-9m. Larger facilities that require large columns and lots of free space will have to be at least 6-9m. A distance of 5m is acceptable for ordinary structures. The maximum span is 7.5, while the minimum is 2.5m.
Direct push technology is often called DPT. It uses the static weight combined with a hydraulic wrench to advance instrumentation or tooling through the subsurface. The drill cuttings cannot be removed from the hole unlike rotary.
Manufacturers limit beams to 60 feet due to transport issues. Others can make beams up to 80 feet long. The longest supported span using LVL is 80 feet. It is normal for continuous LVL spans to be between 20'-30'.
To resist and redistribute load, beams should bend. The girders on the other side are more rigid as they support the beams and provide horizontal support to the structure. The girder is designed to support large, all-encompassing loads like beam responses or structural pillars.
