Remember that there is no perfect tube. They can have bows. They can have weld seams that protrude on both the interior and exterior of the tube. This material can be difficult to process consistently and quickly when there are inconsistencies from one product to the next.

Some things can be quite obvious. The fiber laser "generator", as it is called, is smaller than traditional CO2 resonators. The fiber laser is actually created by banks and modules of diodes. They can be assembled into a compact module with a power range of 600 to 1,500 watts. A number of modules are combined to make the final powered receiver, which is often the size of small filing cabinets. The light is amplified and channeled through fiber-optic cabling. The fiber-optic cable transmits the light exactly as it was before. This ensures that there is no loss of quality or power. Then, it is adjusted and focused according to the material being cut.

Many believed fiber lasers could only work with thin materials. Because CO2 has a longer wavelength, it created enough material kerf to permit material removal. Fiber lasers can't produce the same level of kerf and results with thicker materials. This has been corrected by collimating tech, which can produce a wide fiber laser-generated beam that allows for materials separation. It also makes it possible to allow for material removal in thicker materials. You can also switch the beam width so that the machine can process thin materials with the narrower beam. This allows you to process more materials in a shorter time.

A job shop is only as diverse as the parts it produces. The same applies to those who operate a tube laser. Parts of different sizes can be found in one tube. Laser-cut parts as small as 2 inches must be unloaded by the machine. Each one can be as long as 15 feet. You must also be able unload the parts without damaging them. This can be difficult with soft metals like aluminum.

Pipe and tubing Cutting Procedures:
Rotate the pipe cutter around. Tighten the cutter slightly and rotate it around the pipe several times. Repeat until the pipe is severed by the blade. Steel pipe can be cut with a hacksaw, reciprocating saw, or steel-pipe tubing cutter.
