Standard currently makes the largest selection of hydraulic press-brakes on the market. We have 20 models in our ADR 5 Axis CNC Hydraulic Press Brake Series. They are small, up to 4 feet in length, and large, up to 20 feet in bending length. 7 different tonnages are available, ranging from 66 tons to 440 tonnes. Our ADS series, a premium and more advanced model, is available in 32 models. They can bend metal lengths from 6' 8" to 26' 5". Our ADS series machines have 13 different tonnages and can bend up to 3,300 tons. The PBF series is also available for customers that require a standard press brake. Another side of the coin are the advanced AD Servo Brakes that feature a hybrid hydraulic configuration with ball screws for quiet operation and energy efficiency. Standard is bringing to market the FBS-series, which is short for flexible bending solutions press brakes. FBS series brakes have a high tonnage and can be customized to fit customer's exact requirements. The brakes can also run tandem or trio press brakes.

Our press brakes range in size from 22 tons to 440 tons and bed lengths from 4� to 13� with CNC or manual controls. In addition to our standard inventory, we can accommodate custom orders for specialty length requests and tonnage. All of our press brakes include safety devices and a rear safety cage that disables the machine when opened for easy and secure maintenance. The majority of press brakes are intended to work in the center of the presses. When there is a lot of force required near the brake's ends, Standard Industrial press brakes will apply off-center load.

There are two methods that press brakes can bend steel. The first, or bottom bending, is when the ram presses metal to the bottom. Bottom bending can produce precise bends and is less dependent on the press brake. The problem is that each tool is designed for a specific type of bend. You will need to purchase a brand new tool for each angle. Air bending creates an air pocket between the die's bottom and the ram. This allows the operator flexibility in accommodating any spring back provided by the material. These types are only necessary to be replaced if the material is too thick. The drawback of air bending is its inability to accurately bend the material. This means that the ram will need to be changed accordingly.

This work support arm is heavy-duty, quick-release and comes with smooth transition rollers. Multi-vertical and horizontal adjustments enable precise control. The operator can quickly move the arms left/right, up/down to set up the system. Available in lengths of 24" and 36", the quick-change linear work supports system arms can be adjusted quickly.

Hydraulic brake failures are most common due to either loss of hydraulic pressure, or brake fade on steep hills.

Modern manual transmissions can be used to skip gears while going up or lower. You can, for example, change the gears when you accelerate. However, 3rd may be slower due to low engine revs.

Air brakes can be described as three types of braking systems: emergency brake, parking brake and service brake. The service brake system applies the brakes and then releases them when you press the brake pedal while driving.

The CNC Press Brake is fast to set up and has a repeatability of +/–0.0004 inches. This will allow you to reduce the time it takes to make parts.

4. Choose the correct upper and lower dies for your press brake toolings based on the sheet metal hardness, thickness, length, and other factors. The slot width of the lower den should be between 5-6 times and 6-8 times the thickness of a metal plate. The sheet should have a longer length.
