Z-Reader Probe-- The Z-Reader Probe can be used to locate the surface. It can be used to programmatically or manually. This option is not activated while cutting and is easily retracted. It can be used to verify the surface of each pierce, or to map the entire surface before cutting begins. It starts by initializing or zeroing the device to a surface at the start of a program. After that, it accumulates or tracks any difference.

AC Unit on Electrical Cabinet. - The unit can be mounted on the cabinet’s High power (480v), side. It is in close proximity to the location that the drives are located. This option maintains the cabinet temperature and speeds up heat dissipation. All axes' servo drives are the major contributors to heat within the electrical cabinets.
It doesn't matter if a CNC drill isn't able to position a steel fabricator to be competitive in the steel fabrication market. Signoscript's underside scriber and Signomat's part stamping unit can be attached to this drill axis. Part information is preserved even after galvanizing, blasting, and painting. Minimizing shop errors? Check. Advantage-2 uses carbide tooling to drill more holes and is more aggressive than any other drill. High torque drilling instruments have a thicker and more aggressive cut which removes more chips from each rotation. This drill can remove beams, channel and angle tubes as well as flat bars. Advantage-2's processing window is 44 inches wide by 18 inches high.
The CNC Drill Line can lay out and drill all of your holes in any type of steel profile in fractions of the time that it takes to do manually with a mag drill. It also marks all your welded attachments, eliminating the need to use a tape measure.

The CNC Drill Line is programmed either manually on the machine or by using the Peddimat program. This software is included in the AVENGER. It can be installed on any number of computers in your office that you like. It is the exact same software as the machine, and it is also used on all Voortman CNC fabrication machinery.
Voortman has developed Raptor 3DCAD/CAM Software. This software takes CNC innovation one step further. Users can program faster and more accurately with Raptor 3DCAD/CAM Software. You can inspect, modify and export your part information from within the 3D platform. This combination with Voortman CNC technology ensures maximum capacity for fabricators.
As customers often bring a few pieces of steel with holes or layout marks, we train the operator to use Peddimat.
Horizontal Beams are the most commonly used structural members. They are usually horizontal, but they can be oriented in any direction. Beams are large horizontal members which carry floor loads from floors, walls or roofs to columns or foundation walls.
The maximum concrete aggregate size will determine the spacing between bars in a beam. Between the bars, the minimum spacing can be between 50 and 75 mm.
Based on the cover, assumed links and bar diameters, calculate the Effective Depth (d). Calculate K = M/( b d2fck ); where "M" stands for the applied bending moment, and "b" the beam width. "D" is concrete's characteristic cylinder strength.
A box (or square shell) is the best shape in 2D for both directions. However, a cylindrical shell, or tube, is more efficient for bending in any direction. The I, or wide flange beam, is better for unidirectional bending.
C-Channel. . . . This beam profile is very popular for auxiliary beams. Although it is also used for main beams it is more popular for cross members. C-Channel is usually stronger than tube in the vertical direction (as shown in the beam profile chart image).
