The CNC Drill Line is an extremely space-efficient beam processing solution as it only requires a floor space of 70ft x 9ft, making it ideal for even the smallest fabricator or fabricators with space limitations. We also have many CNC Drill Line installations that are outside, freeing up even more space for the fabricator.

Z-Reader Probe- This probe maps the surface's location. It can be operated manually and programmatically. The option is removed from danger and is not active while the cutting process is underway. It can be used for surface mapping or to verify surface at each point before the cutting process begins. It is responsible for initialization, or zeroing the device on the surface at beginning of a program. From there it tracks the difference or accumulates them.

Renishaw 5-Axis Calibration - This calibration unit is a Renishaw model APCA45, with a modified spherical tip. To remove dust and debris during activation, the device comes with a retractable cover. It attaches to a swing arm that is controlled by a pneumatic motor. This allows it to be out of the way during normal operation, and then swings into the calibration position.

Yes. Many CNC Drill Line installations are available outside. The control panel and mobile platform must have adequate weather protection. We are happy to show you photos from our many outside installations.

Our beam drill machines have central lubrication, a cooling system, and linear guides to make them easier to use and require less maintenance. Each coordinate system includes a 4 station tool changer. This allows it drill, mill/scribe, counter sink or tap as many times as required. Additionally, tools can be swapped easily during operation. Positive beam positioning is an arm that attaches to a rack on the conveyor. This allows the beam position to be more precisely controlled as it moves through a drill line.

CNC Drill Line is able to import DXF files. It can then use these files to create 3-D shapes, provided that the steel has been detailed according to certain rules. These rules may not be applicable to your current detailing and might need some adjustments. This process is not as smooth as the 3-D modeling software.
