Ocean Avenger Plus Cnc Beam Drill Line

These drop-in stainless grippers allow you to secure base plates or flat bars, angle, or other profiles that might have rounded edges and want to push away the datum line.

To ensure smooth operation and low maintenance, our beam drill machine machines come with linear guides and central lubrication. A 4-station tool changer is included in each coordinate system. It allows it to drill/mill, scribe/counter sink or tap as necessary. The tools can also be changed easily mid-operation. An arm attached to the rack and pinion on the feed conveyor is used to position the beam while it passes through the drill. Our steel beam drill lines are much more accurate that friction roller machines.

A 4-axis layout marking attachment eliminates human error in manual layout methods. Part information is retained even after painting, blasting and galvanizing.

It is no good having a CNC drilling machine if it doesn’t enable a fabricator compete at the top of the steel fabrication field. High torque drilling axes have thicker, more aggressive cuts that extract more chips with each turn. This drill line can eat through beams as well channel, angle and tube. Advantage-2 is able to process any profile up to 44 inches wide x 18 inches tall.

Advantage-2 uses a variety of support clamps to ensure maximum rigidity through the machine. Carbide tool life can be extended by reducing vibrations as much as possible.

Never attach a support beam to a post.

Alloyed high-speed steel (HSS) is used to make drills. This tool steel can reach temperatures up to 600 degrees Celsius, which is possible when cutting e.g. steel and metals. You can use high-speed steel with a higher amount of cobalt (5% or more) as the material hardens.

Channel would cost less than a similar thickness of square tubing but would last longer because it is channel x2. You could easily make a bolt-together rack with channel by welding flat steel caps (IE top of the uprights).
